So I've been a bit rubbish for a couple of days and it's a shame because I really wish I could post I was wearing. I wore my favourite dress yesterday and everything! Things are getting tense because of the looming book launch and I seem to be spending every second I have on it, but it is going incredibly well so I can't complain.

Sorry about how crap these photos are. This is such a boring outfit but it is very me. Plus how do you like the headphones? I really love them! (sorry about the none shiney non-makeuped face)

I ordered some shoes the other day, all the way from Sweden. I've never bought shoes online before, but anyway, they arrived at 7.30am(!) this morning. And well, let's just say, for £50 they were put together, somewhat worse that I was expecting. 

Really not impressed. The heel is falling away already, there is an eyelet missing and there's already blemishes on the mirror work. So thanks Modekungen, but no thanks. SO annoyed.

We'll see what their excuses are. Originally I was wearing this outfit with a leather skirt, but I realised that it did a good job of making me look like a hooker when paired with these tights.

Longing

I've had this dress for a while but it just hasn't seemed right to wear it yet. Today I figured I may as well just do it. I butchered this tee ages ago this is pretty much all it's good for now.

Sosososososo much to do to get prepared for the book launch in TWO AND A HALF WEEKS. Nightmare. The books are here and they all look great though, so who knows, it might all work out in the end.

So you've probably noticed, I'm not great at doing colour.

Its a lack of confidence thing. But I'm trying to get better. This is another attempt, but I'm not convinced. I love these leggings and in real life I think they look fine, however, in these photos I'm pretty sure they make my legs look like giant blocks of cheese. Does that happen to anyone else?

Run Away

So I'm not proud for shopping in Primark, BUT I destroy shoes faster than you would ever believe. I don't know what is wrong with me, but shoes just fall to pieces, so I buy cheap flats for every day use (people who say pay more for better quality, trust me, I've tried it, it all goes just as quickly).

These however I actually ADORE, such perfect shape and look, not quite a trainer but a comfy everyday shoe. They'll keep me going this spring/summer.

Naturally I had to get them in black AND navy, but I love them both.

(the subtleties weren't showing up..)

Also, I stupidly bought the black ones too small, I took the tags off (and walked to the station in them) but if anyone wants them (most likely to fit UK 4) just let me know and I'll send them over free of charge. I'll take this off the post when/if they go, so if you can still see it then I still have them.

Thanks so much for all the support lately everyone, it's much appreciated.

Anyway, this is a thrown together old thing with bad photos and well, I can't really believe I'm posting it, but here I am, ready to do it. 

These shoes didn't last the day, which is kinda annoying because they fit me so well, they just, are difficult, its nothing some glue can't sort out though. Also definitely needs some necklaces too.

I'm trying to plan the launch of my book this week and it's a logistical nightmare! (For anyone wondering, I didn't actually write the book, I'm just publishing it)

I hate Mondays, not because of the whole 'work after the weekend' thing, but because, it's the only day I have to work 2 of my 3 jobs. it involves travelling across London and spending too much money on food.

Sometimes I'm so awkward it's funny even to me. I think I'm going to have to apologise about my face in every post it's in. There's just no facial expression I can have in order to look even mildly acceptable. ANYWAY enough of that. 

This is my grunge meets bondage look. I bought these leggings/trouser things from Topshop yesterday, and I really love them, apart from the fact they've stained my legs a kind of odd purple/grey colour, that (from the short attempt I made) is going to be really hard to get off...

I went walking around Richmond today trying (and failing) not to spend much money...

Still, it was a very nice Saturday.
